Dovid Solomon grew up in New Jersey and is proud of the fact that he is an Israeli by choice! He attended public school; his bar Mitzvah impacted on him profoundly and he’s spent the rest of his life learning about and committed to the destiny of the Jewish people. Dovid spent high school at Yeshivot in Baltimore and California; later, earning degrees in Talmudic Law and Business Administration.
After making Aliyah in 1984 Dovid worked in education and the catering business before earning his Israeli tour guide license. Over the past 19 years, he served as the Israel Educator for a wide variety of groups including Birthright, Synagogue Family, Adult and youth groups, Diplomats and family missions. He is also a Shoah Educator and has guided numerous Jewish roots journeys with the March of the Living and other groups in Poland and Eastern Europe.
Dovid’s favorite site in Israel is Jerusalem’s Old City – it’s the eye of the universe, the spiritual center and the very heart of our people and our history. The Golan is also up there – the views, history, strategic location; the pioneering spirit that permeates and the wine!!
