Debbie Ford Courage Cruise

Day 1

We will disembark from the cruise ship at the Port of Ashdod, and ascend to Jerusalem via the Courage road. At our first stop we will enjoy a spectacular panoramic lookout over the Old City & Temple Mount and chant the Shehechiyanu meditation of gratitude & thanksgiving. We will then circle the Old City & enter Jaffa Gate to be greeted by a kaleidoscope of color in the Arab Souk & Cardo. We will make a brief stop for lunch (on our own) in the Jewish Quarter and make our way down to the Southern Excavations & Davidson Center. We will experience the powerful energy and vibration that only the Western Wall holds. Our visit to the Western Wall will culminate with a moving red string ceremony led by Debbie and Rabbi Baruch Ezagui. After leaving the Old City we will head out to the Judean Desert for an authentic desert experience with a meditation session, camel rides & dinner under the stars at Genesis Land.

Day 1
Day 2

Beginning in Hebron, which is known as the City of the Patriarchs & Matriarchs and also the burial place of the first human beings Adam and Eve. We will visit the holy caves - Cave of Machpela where the Patriarchs and Matriarchs are buried as well as one or two of the more interesting neighborhoods and lookout points.

After leaving Hebron, we will ascend once more to the timeless city of Jerusalem. We will travel back in time to the days of the First Temple. The City of David is one of the most exciting & dynamic archeological sites in Israel today. After visiting Area G & Warren’s Pier, you will have the option to wade through Hezekiah’s Water Tunnel.

Catapulting ourselves back to modern day Jerusalem – we will experience the colorful, bustling Machane Yehudah Outdoor Market and take time to sample the local fare. But the highlight of our day will be a tour of the Western Wall Tunnels where we will uncover the secrets of the Second Temple and stand at the place closest to the Holy of Holies where we will each pray and be blessedbefore heading back to the cruise ship in Ashdod.

Duration of the tour approx. 12 hours

Day 2
Day 3

Our luxury tour bus will depart from the port of Ashdod across the Negev Desert to the one of Israel’s most dramatic sites – Masada. Masada has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site & the archaeological remains are as dramatic as the story they convey. Bath-houses, mosaic floors, cisterns, palaces, defense works and store-houses built by King Herod, stand silent witness to the epic battle that transpired here. We will descend the mountain by cable-car and make our way to the southern shores of the Dead Sea for a delicious buffet lunch at one of the hotel resorts. Here at the lowest place on Earth we will experience the extraordinary sensation of floating in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea. Energized & rejuvenated we will return to the cruise ship from a day of inspiration, relaxation, and fun.
