  • Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport where you will be met by our representatives and escorted through passport control, baggage claim and customs
  • Transfer to Jerusalem
  • Check-in to your hotel, rest, relax & unpack
  • Dinner at Jaffa Port

  • Full Israeli breakfast at the hotel
  • Tour the Underground Bullet Factory at the Ayalon Institute
  • Visit the Palmach Museum and learn about the miracle of the birth of the State of Israel
  • Experience the colorful Nachalat Binyamin market, outdoor Shuk HaCarmel & trendy Sheinkin Street including time for lunch
  • Lookout over Old Jaffa from the Herbert Samuel Promenade
  • Drive to Jerusalem – Dinner at Mamilla Promenade

  • Bar Mitzvah ceremony at the Kotel
  • Navigate the Western Wall Tunnels
  • Explore the sites & sounds of the Jewish Quarter including the Cardo, Broad Wall & Burnt House
  • Re-enact the dramatic battle at Ammunition Hill that led the way to the liberation of the Old City in the Six Day War
  • Host a BBQ for IDF soldiers at their base including live music

Overnight: David Citadel Hotel – Jerusalem

  • Full Israeli breakfast at hotel
  • Pay tribute to the memory of the Six Million at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum & Children’s Memorial
  • Enjoy the vibe at the Machane Yehudah Outdoor market
  • Join thousands of Jews from around the world as they welcome the Shabbat at the Kotel
  • Shabbat Dinner at the hotel for friends hosted by Bar Mitva Family

  • Day at leisure in Jerusalem. Options may include:
    • Davening at the Mayanot Shul, Hurva or Great Synagogue
    • Shabbat lunch at hotel hosted by the Biermans
    • Walk through the stunning neighborhood of Yemin Moshe
    • Lots of time to rest and relax
  • Enjoy the enthralling sound-and-light show at the Tower of David
  • Night of fun on Ben Yehudah or Emek Refaim Street

Overnight: David Citadel Hotel – Jerusalem

Day 6

DAY SIX – SUNDAY– Judean Desert

  • Travel into the Judean desert on 4X4 Jeeps
  • Ascend the desert fortress of Masada where the Zealots held out against the Romans after the destruction of the Second Temple
  • Picnic lunch
  • Hike through the Ein Gedi Oasis where David fled from King Saul and cool off under a waterfall
  • Float in the Dead Sea
  • Depart for North via Jordan Valley
  • Check-in to hotel in time for dinner

  • Full Israeli breakfast at hotel
  • Discover the Mystical city of Tzfat including the beautiful synagogues, artists’ colony, candle factory, Ari’s Mikveh and more
  • Lunch on own on promenade
  • Visit the Otzar Hastam Center and learn of the mysteries behind the writing of Tefillin & Mezuzot
  • Ascend the Golan Heights by jeep & hear the stories of the Six Day War & Yom Kippur War
  • Enter an abandoned Syrian outpost at Mizpe Gadot
  • Sample the local fare at the Golan Heights Winery
  • Enjoy a cruise on the Sea of Gallilee with live music
  • Dinner in Tiberias

  • Visit the impressive Tomb of Maimonides and hear his remarkable life-story
  • Plant trees in the JNF forest next to the Golani Brigade Memorial
  • Return to the times of the Sages at Kfar Kedem including lunch and donkey rides
  • Pay respects at the grave of Ilan Ramon – Israeli astronaut who was killed on the Columbia  space shuttle
  • Depart for Tel Aviv
  • Shopping time and dinner in the Azrieli Mall
  • Departure for Ben Gurion Airport
