DAY 1 - MONDAY- ARRIVAL- ROME

Visit the Colosseum.
Walking tour to the forum and view of the Arch of Titus
Captivating discussion with local expert about: Rome and Jerusalem.
Delicious culinary tour of the Jewish ghetto and Campo de Fiori.
Jewish Museum of Rome.
Optional visits for those interested can be arranged to: The Vatican City and Saint Peter’s Cathedral. | The Statue of Moses by Michelangelo in San
Pietro in Vincoli Cathedral.

DAY 4- THURSDAY - BEST OF TUSCANY

Full continental breakfast at hotel
Depart Florence for Pisa to see the famous Leaning Tower (the bell tower of the Cathedral) and Baptistry.
From Pisa travel to Siena, Tuscany’s medieval city.
Visit the central piazza, Il Campo, famous for its Palio horse race that is run around the piazza and will explore the Duomo.
Travel to San Gimignano, “City of Fine Towers” to explore the unique Medieval architecture for which this town is famous.
Return to Florence for dinner.

DAY 5- FRIDAY - FLORENCE

Walking tour of central Florence, including the Piazza Duomo, Batisterium, Piazza Della Signiora, Ponte Veccio and the San Lorenzo Market.
View the galleria Accademia to view its masterpieces, including the stunning David statue and the four statues of the Slaves.
Visit the Great Synagogue and Jewish Museum.
Transfer to Venice across the Appenine Mountains

We an experience in Italy with a tour that will take you to the canals, bridges, Gondolas, courtyards, historical and architectural landmarks of the beautiful city.
Visit San Marco Square.
Embark on a unique gondola tour of Venice, including the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs with stops
and visits at major sites together with an expert guide.
Walk the cobbled streets and cross a myriad of bridges over small canals to experience the magical
courtyards of this enchanting city.

DAY 2 - TUESDAY- ROMANIA

Visit the picturesque village of Nemi, a Medieval town
on the shores of Lake Nemi.
View Lake Albano in the mouth of an extinct volcano.
Tour Castel Gandolfo, including the summer home of the Pope.
Visit the town of Tivoli and tour the magnificent Villa D’Esti, whose magnificent Renaissance buildings, gardens and fountains are a UNESCO world heritage site.
Return to Rome.
Dinner in the Jewish Ghetto.

DAY 3- WEDNESDAY - ITALY’S ‘LITTLE JERUSALEM’

Full continental breakfast at hotel
Morning walking tour of the main squares in the city center including Piazza Espainia, the Trevi Fountain, Phanteon and Piazza Navona, following which we depart on a beautiful picturesque drive to Tuscany.
En route to Florence, travel the gorgeous countryside of Tuscany to Ptigliano, La Piccola Gerusalemme (‘Little Jerusalem’).
Tour of synagogue, mikveh, matza bakery and take in its stupendous views.

DAY 8 - MONDAY - VENETIAN ISLANDS

Alongside the astounding city of Marco Polo, we explore the history of a Jewish community which has its earliest roots in the 16th Century.
Tour the Jewish Ghetto and meet with an author and leader of the Venice Jewish community (Pending availability)
Visit the 8 islands that make up Murano, a center for glassmaking since the 13th Century and Burano, known for its lacework and brightly colored houses.
Tour of the Ghetto Novo (New Ghetto) and Ghetto Veccio (Old Ghetto), the Jewish Museum and view the synagogues.
Meet Shaul Bassi, Associate Professor of Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies, Foscari University and author of Shakespeare in Venice (pending availability).
Transfer by boat to Murano for a visit and
demonstration in one of Murano glass factories
Continue to the colorful island of Burano for a tour and visit to its acclaimed lace workshops and colorful houses.
